Volunteers are needed to walk different sections of our walking trails one evening a week to mark trail lights that need to be replaced. The trail lights are on light sensors or timers and the burned out lights can only be identified in the evenings. Contact the Lifestyle Director if you are interested.
This entails opening and/or closing the clubhouse. We are currently looking for permanent positions as well as fill-ins when our regularly scheduled residents are away. Scheduling is flexible with opening shift at 6:00 a.m. and closing shift at 10:00 p.m. Contact the Lifestyle Director if you are interested.
A clean-up day is organized in late April by the landscape committee for residents to gather together and remove trash and fallen branches from the common wooded areas.
A Special Note to New Residents - The first year's clean-up for the wooded areas in new neighborhoods is a significant effort since the area has never been cleaned before. Residents in new neighborhoods should show up in force for this initial clean-up. You'll be pleased at how great the wooded areas look after their first clean-up. It's also a great way to contribute to the community and work side-by-side with your new neighbors.
