Landscaping Hints
We now have a drop box located at the Clubhouse for residents to deliver any correspondence relative to the Landscape Committee.
- Homeowners should avoid treating their lawns themselves as doing so may have an adverse affect when combined with the current program in place.
- Also, to help, please remove hoses and lawn furniture, etc. from your grass.
- For the Crab Grass Control to work effectively, please DO NOT rake for at least four weeks, as you will break down the barrier created to prevent crab grass and will diminish the effectiveness of this treatment.
- Watering: refrain from watering on the day your property is mowed until they have completed their work.
- Trees: with the heat wave we are in, if they are not kept wet until they take, there is a good chance they may not make it.
- If you have plantings around your light post, you need to create an edged mulch area so your plants will not be damaged when they are weed-whacked.
- Dogs: please keep them from relieving themselves on our grassy common areas, as it kills the grass.
- If you notice any sprinkler heads that are either not working or not working properly, please notify the Landscape Committee as wasted water is VERY EXPENSIVE....
- If you notice any area that is not being covered by the sprinklers, please notify the Landscape Committee.
