The Great Island Transition Plan

Preparing for the transition from the “Developer Control Period” to Homeowner control of The Great Island District Homeowners Association is well underway. We elected our first homeowner to the Board of Directors (BOD) last fall. An independent Assets Replacement Study was successfully completed in January. The process to elect a second homeowner to the BOD will start June 1st with the election to be completed in October.

The Board of Directors has also approved The Great Island Transition Plan. The Plan is to provide the Home Owners Association with information and documents to for the Resident Board of Directors when they are in place next spring. In addition to the Advisory Committee, resident volunteers will be involved with various tasks.
