RE: Request for Home Modifications
Dear Homeowner:
Great Island in a planned residential community designed and built with a consistency of architecture designed to promote visual harmony throughout the community. We recognize that homeowners may wish to modify or add to existing structures and the following process has been established to accommodate those requests while protecting the expectations of the community homeowners as a group. In order to modify the exterior or remodel the interior of your home you need to obtain the approval of the Great Island Board of Directors and The Pinehills Design Review Committee. The following process is required for your proposed modification approval:
- You must complete a Great Island Request Form and a Pinehills Landowners Assoc. Design Review Application (with any supporting plans) and drop the application off at the Clubhouse. send both applications to Jeff Robinson at Continuing Care Management, Five Lyman Street, Westborough, MA 01581.
Pinehills Landowners Assoc. Design Review Application
- If the Great Island Board of Directors approves the request, we then send the request on to the Pinehills Design Review Committee for their approval. Great Island will also send a letter to the homeowner indicating that we have approved your request and your applications have been forwarded to the Pinehills Board for final review. You should then receive a response from the Pinehills within thirty day from the time they have received the request.
- If Great Island does not approve your request, we will send back to the homeowner the denied application within thirty days from the submittal date with an explanation for the denial.
