INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Great Island Overlook Clubhouse and Community Center. For the purposes of this document, the Overlook Clubhouse and Community Center includes the tennis courts, bocce courts, fitness center, and recreational common areas and to include on completion the indoor pool. As a homeowner in Great Island by Del Webb, you have automatically become a Member of The Overlook Clubhouse and Community Center and are entitled to the full benefits of ownership. Like your home, however, The Overlook Clubhouse and Community Center has some rules designed to promote the safety and enjoyment for the residents of Great Island and their designated guests.
These Rules and Regulations are designed to be the guidelines for use of The Overlook Clubhouse and Community Center. Additional documents that may affect your membership in The Overlook Clubhouse and Community Center include the Bylaws of the Great Island Community Association, Inc. ("Bylaws") and the Bylaws of The Pinehills. Whenever pertinent, we have tried to restate definitions from those other documents in these Rules and Regulations, but if we've missed some, all initially capitalized terms not defined in these Rules and Regulations shall have the same meaning given to them in the Declaration, Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws.
Please keep in mind that The Overlook Clubhouse and Community Center is an integral part of the Great Island community, and the right to use The Overlook Clubhouse and Community Center was material in each Owner's decision to purchase a home in Great Island. While we believe the automatic membership in The Overlook Clubhouse and Community Center renders ownership in Great Island more valuable than it would be otherwise, there is a reason beyond property values to observe the Rules and Regulations. The other Members of The Overlook Clubhouse and Community Center are your neighbors, and many will become your friends.
Before you use The Overlook Clubhouse and Community Center for the first time, and periodically thereafter, we recommend that you read the entire set of Rules and Regulations to refresh your memory.
The Rules and Regulations may be updated periodically, and supplemental Rules and Regulations may be applicable to specific the Overtook Clubhouse and Community Center facilities. Be sure to check with the Lifestyle Director, (the "AD") and/or the Association (the "Association") to make sure your set of Rules and Regulations are complete and up to date.
For your convenience, these Rules and Regulations have been organized into sections designed to help you quickly find the answer to a particular question.
